The Jumping International of Monte-Carlo
This year the Jumping International de Monte-Carlo, nestled under the ramparts of the Princely Palace, promises great moments of sporting excitement from June 29 till July 1.
The Monegasque stage of the prestigious Longines Global Champions Tour has welcomed the best riders in the world in the heart of Port Hercule since 2006.
The Jumping International de Monte-Carlo is a show jumping competition completely different from the others as it takes place on the Quai Albert 1 under the famous Rocher des Princes of Monaco. Setting up an equestrian stadium in the heart of the Hercule port is unique: tons of fibrous sand have to be brought in, the port has to be transformed into stables, and the whole thing has to be given that luxurious environment is specific to the event.
The Jumping International of Monte-Carlo is a hallmark of equestrian excellence for both riders and spectators and a great decade of sporting and horse riding achievement, emotion, and exceptional entertainment boasting the best riders in the world and the breathtakingly princely setting of Monaco’s waterfront.
Its arena and amenities’ rate and technical sophistication made the competition the Principality’s third most important sporting event, alongside motor racing’s Formula 1 Grand Prix and Rolex Masters.
