Ginta: “I Believe the Secret Sauce of Success Lies in the Intersection of Authenticity, Innovation, and Resilience”

The Italian-French content creator, artist, influencer, and entrepreneur Ginta virtuously mixes technology with entertainment.

How are you balancing your diverse roles as an artist, influencer, and entrepreneur?

First and foremost, I consider myself an artist, a term that encapsulates my roles as a singer, content creator, and entrepreneur. This integrated identity allows me to push boundaries and create a unique brand that brings together music, fashion, and technology by pushing boundaries in the entertainment and digital content industry. Different areas of activity intertwine continuously in my life. My experience as a model has given me a keen eye for visual aesthetics, which I bring into my music videos and stage performances. The studies in New Technologies and Entrepreneurship have equipped me with a deep understanding of the potential of emerging tech and business strategies in music and content creation. This role gives me the tools to conceptualize and realize multimedia productions, combining various elements into a cohesive whole. All these experiences come together in my work as an artist, where each facet enhances the other, creating a synergy that drives my multimedia productions.

What are your current projects?

Currently, I am focusing on my new single, “Unsaid,” which is very close to my heart. It was tucked away in my files for years, constantly evolving as I sought to perfect it. Over time, it has undergone countless updates in production, each change and improvement infused with fresh ideas and sounds. Approaching the final version, the challenge was to bring a refreshing perspective to a melody I’ve loved and nurtured for so long while maintaining its timeless beauty. The result is a harmonious blend of updated vintage and innovation that I hope listeners will resonate with. The song aims to ponder on the purpose of our biggest questions, masked beneath uplifting melodies and catchy loops. The soundscape is a distinctive mix of ’90s sonorities fused with a modern electro twist and hooks. In parallel several collaborations are about to be published, such as the WIBA ( World Influencer Awards) anthem “Follow” and the remix of the summer hit “Kalimera.” All these tracks are included in my live shows and DJ sets that will take me around Europe this Summer.

How do you innovate with new technologies?

Embracing technologies like virtual reality, augmented reality, and blockchain in audio and videos offer my audience a refreshing and immersive experience. For instance, AI has the potential to greatly enhance the creative process of a music artist by providing new ideas, generating unique compositions, and assisting in production and mixing. It can analyze musical data, offer suggestions for melodies and arrangements, automate repetitive tasks, and provide real-time feedback. However, it should always be seen as a collaborative tool that complements the artist’s intuition and creativity rather than replacing it. All these tools offer new ways to tell stories and create immersive experiences. They blur the line between the digital and physical world, creating a unique space where entertainment can come alive in ways traditional mediums can’t. My goal is to engage my audience not just as passive listeners but as active participants in a shared journey.

In one of your interviews, you called music as possible time travel.

Each song I create is a journey to a different time or place. “Kalimera” brings listeners to a sun-drenched beach at the start of a new day, new life, while “Unsaid” transports them to a quiet, introspective space where I invite the listener to dance it off. “Night Shift,” with its blend of electronic and analogic elements, creates a bridge between the past and the future by enticing the willpower to get our lives in our own two hands and make something beautiful out of it.

Can you share your memorable Cannes experiences from this year?

The Cannes Film Festival holds a special place in my heart. Being a part of the Festival for the fourth time feels like returning to a vibrant, creative home. Every year brings memorable encounters with friends and notable industry personalities. Winning the World Influencer Award a couple of years ago was a profound moment, inspiring me to continually elevate my art. This year having the chance to sing the Award Ceremony anthem was a true honor in front of the most influential personalities in the world. The song is produced by my long-time friend and producer Massimo Zoara (who is working with Eros Ramazzotti and Bocelli, among others) and sets an uplifting mood when in need of finding inner resources to make it in our own path. What happens during the week of movie premieres is a testament to the power of dreams, representing infinite possibilities for those who dare to chase their passion. It reminds us of the magic that occurs when we follow our hearts, creating a profession out of what we truly love in life. Personally, it serves as a platform for showcasing my love for music, fashion, and innovative technology. My collaborations with forward-thinking designers become beautifully displayed here, underlining the spirit of artistry, innovation, and resilience.

How does your style translate into your choice of designer?

My style can be best described as timeless. I hold a deep appreciation for quality over quantity, investing in pieces that I know will last for years. This emphasis on lasting fashion aligns with my commitment to sustainability, an element that is vital to me, resonating through the concept of quiet luxury. One of the cities I consider home is Paris, and its authentic, effortless chic has undeniably shaped my fashion sensibility. I’ve absorbed the art of blending classic pieces with contemporary flair, a trademark of Parisian style. I hold a deep appreciation for quality over quantity, investing in pieces that endure time. This is where my commitment to sustainability merges with my fashion choices, epitomizing the concept of quiet luxury. Each season, I create a sort of “season uniform” by choosing around ten key pieces that reflect current trends. This allows me to combine the timeless style with a dash of the contemporary, keeping my wardrobe updated yet classic. Accessories often serve as the highlight of my outfits, adding that distinctive edge. Fashion, for me, is a playground, an arena for creativity and exploration. I take joy in mixing and matching, experimenting with new combinations, and, most importantly, having fun with it. Handcrafted items, organic shapes, and natural materials hold a special place in my style diary, echoing my appreciation for craftsmanship and the environment.

What do you think is the secret of your success?

I believe the secret sauce of success lies in the intersection of authenticity, innovation, and resilience. Authenticity plays a crucial role. I’ve always strived to create music and content that is a genuine reflection of who I am, my experiences, and the messages I believe in. This authenticity resonates with my audience, allowing us to build a strong connection. It’s important to me that my fans see and relate to the human behind the artist. Innovation is another key aspect. I leverage my knowledge of new technologies, from virtual reality to blockchain, to add layers of depth to my work. This constant push to innovate keeps my art fresh and exciting. Resilience, the third pillar of success, has been forged through my journey. Every artist encounters setbacks and criticisms, but it’s the ability to bounce back from these challenges that truly defines us. Winning the World Influencer Award in 2023, following the success of my music on international charts, was definitive moments of validation. But these achievements are balanced with moments of struggle and doubt. Embracing this duality has only made me stronger as an artist. Success, in my view, is not a destination but a journey of continuous learning, growth, and evolution. The recognition and awards I’ve received are indeed gratifying, but the true reward lies in the joy of creating and the ability to touch people’s lives through one’s art.
