Do you remember when you decided to start your social media account? Was it aimed at your private usage, or have you planned to blog?
It was on my 50th birthday I decided to make video horoscopes for my friends and upload them on YouTube, I just thought my friends could see the videos I had made for them. I was very shocked when the next day, I had two followers and comments asking when the next horoscopes would be uploaded. It was a lovely surprise that came out of my 50th birthday decision.
How do you manage to be sincere with your audience, and are there any spheres of your life that you prefer not to show?
I am a very open person and happy to share things that happen in my life. I think about my followers as members of my family, and I like to be real. I’m an open and positive person, and the main purpose of my communication is to be positive in their life and to find that brightness in their own life even if they are experiencing difficult times. However, I am private about my family members’ personal lives at their request.
How much time does your Influencer activity take you? And how long does it take to create content? How much time does your Influencer activity take you? And how long does it take to create content?
It is a central part of my life, and I don’t really consider it work. I am always creating content throughout the day, every day. Each month I am making 26-27 videos to upload to YouTube, in addition to Instagram stories every day. I don’t consider this work as I love what I do, preparing horoscopes and sharing my stories with my followers because I enjoy being close with my followers.
Do you feel your Internet popularity in real life? Do people recognize you on the streets?
Definitely, people recognise me in every country of the world when I travel, and I love it. I really enjoy it when my followers come up to me and say hello or ask for a picture. I still remember the first time I was at an airport waiting for an international flight, and I saw this beautifully dressed lady look at me and suddenly ran up to me, sayings, “Oh, Angela Pearl, I watch you.” I still remember that moment, and it still makes me smile. Recently, at the Cannes Film Festival and WIBA event, I was pleasantly shocked when a number of famous people I follow or recognised approached me to take a picture. It still shocks me to be recognised.
What is the most influential social network, in your opinion?
At the moment for me, my preference is Instagram, I find that I can connect by videos and talking with people in any moment and get their reactions straight away. I love making reels on Instagram. I think Telegram is also huge and is suited more to writing and responses. I also enjoy watching TikTok and love the memes that people do of me – I love the creativity that is out there.
What do you consider the blogger’s peak of success?
I feel successful and that I’ve achieved the purpose of my life every time that people come to me and say that “I changed their life for the better,” I inspire and motivate them to make changes for themselves. I feel very privileged when someone tells me my videos, words at a particular moment, or one of my web courses has changed their life for the better. Not long ago, I was at a restaurant in Riga (Vincents), and the chef brought my dessert to my table and said my words inspired her to go from being an unhappy lawyer to following her dream to become a pastry chef and that she is now the happiest she has ever been. That fills my heart with happiness.

How to learn to be open with a billion audience? How to deal with hate, and is it worth it?
I like to be open and honest all the time, to be truthful to myself and my audience. Unfortunately, hate exists, but my focus is always on positive comments. I believe that where a person’s focus is, their energy flows. I think every blogger should remind themselves that the haters don’t deserve to receive your time and energy. We are all different, and what I want to put out in the world is positive energy.
What inspires you for your posts?
Everything that I love I draw inspiration from – travel, adventures, tarot card, fashion, beautiful scenery. I live around the world, and when I’m at home in Australia every morning I love to share pictures of the beautiful Pacific Ocean from my balcony.
Do you think bloggers are trendsetters nowadays? Can they be considered A-list celebrities?
Yes, they are definitely trendsetters. Everyone has a phone in their hands today, start their days on social media, and posts can go viral instantly. It is a very powerful and instant medium. They have a lot of influence in setting trends, and lots of bloggers are now recognised around the world as celebrities. It is a very big responsibility how you conduct yourself and what you say to your followers and the world through social media platforms. I always try to leave a positive footprint.
Do you style your blogger looks by yourself, or do you have a professional stylist?
I’ve been doing YouTube and Instagram for eight years. It was after the Cannes Film Festival and WIBA award that I began being approached by fashion designers, stylists, photographers, and fashion brands, and I’m excited and open to collaborating with them. I have always been a lover of beautiful clothes and jewellery, having previously owned jewellery businesses, and this is an exciting time.
Whom are you following? Whom do you consider fascinating bloggers now? Which famous blogger would you like to collaborate with?
I love to follow people who are very passionate about what they are doing. I am currently following a psychologist Tata Feodoridy from New York – her Instagram helps people to show them they can do anything. The blogs she produces are inspiring with their scale and quality – but it is her message that we can do anything in life that I enjoy. Another I follow is Victoria Repa, founder of BetterMe, which is about having a healthy living/lifestyle. I love her message to “be yourself.” I also follow Marina Mogilko, she is a creator from Silicon Valley with two young daughters and shows young mums can live full lives, be creative, and successful.
Who would I like to collaborate with?
I would love to collaborate with the three ladies above – it is so inspiring to see these women succeeding with their channels and positive messages. My dream collaboration would be a project with Zuhair Murad, whose fashion I adore and wore on the red carpet in Cannes. His work is divine. My goal is to work internationally with other influencers and famous people to change the world through positive actions.
What is your “next big move” on or off social media in 2022 that your followers should be most excited about?
I’ve got some big plans. I recently lost 23kg over 12 months, which improved my energy and well-being, and I am planning to share my experiences, combined with the knowledge of specialists in diet, exercise, and psychology, in a one-month online course called “The Way of Venus.” It has come about due to subscribers asking me what my secret is to have turned back time and change my look. I’m looking forward to sharing that secret with them. I’m also excited to be publishing my own Tarot Deck that I have designed. I am also considering various motivational speaking engagements and would like to create my own meditation app. It is an exciting time.
What was the moment/story when you realized, “Wow, I am an Influencer now!” How do you feel about the evolution of the term itself in recent years?
It was in February 2022 when the terrible event in Ukraine unfolded. It was at that time subscribers asked about my views that I realised that my words could influence or impact millions of people. It is for that reason I believe influencers have a great responsibility in their words and actions. I believe influencers have moved from TV and Film to social media and that influencers are now ordinary people who are passionate about what they do – social media has given a voice to everyone to impact their world and other people’s.
Lastly, I’d like to encourage your readers to see the bright side of life, be positive, and believe in yourself, that you are stronger than you think and can achieve anything in your life for the better. I know I did, at the age of 50, so anything is possible.
