La Promenade d’Orlinski: 10 Monumental Sculptures in Nice

The world’s most famous and best-selling contemporary French artist since 2015 – Richard Orlinski, presents the exclusive open-air exhibition in Nice from June 10 to September 30.

Richard Orlinski’s art is featured in more than 200 galleries worldwide, and it is the artist’s signature – exhibiting his works of spectacular sizes in extraordinary places and the great outdoors.

The artist created his first sculpture in 2004 – a bright red resin crocodile, which soon became iconic and starting point of his career. Richard Orlinski takes his inspiration from pop culture, everyday objects, and popular things, and he developed new sculptures, mostly of animals, symbolizing freedom, power, and passion – electrifying masterpieces in pop colors and a faceted style that impressed the world.

Richard Orlinski adores art in all forms, places no limits on himself, and is therefore innovating always. Wishing to democratize art by making it accessible to extensive audiences, Richard Orlinski takes an interest in all means of expression, and his art knows no boundaries. He was appointed an Officer for the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Minister of Culture, Roselyne Bachelot-Narquin, in 2021.

The artist appreciates exploring different production techniques to bring life to his works and has fun with colors, materials, transparency, and light, and constantly pushes back the limits of creativity and technique.

The artist determines art not as a luxury but a necessity, with its imperatives, a necessary process of reflection. Richard is always willing to associate his image with that of prestigious partners such as Hublot (LVMH Group), BIC, and The Kooples.

The artist has developed new artistic universes, varying from cartoons to digital artworks with NFTs, giving art a central place in our everyday lives is a recurring theme.

In 2017, he created the first Galerie Orlinski, exclusively dedicated to his art, and chose the most ideal and prestigious location – Paris – to open it at 68 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré and after a few more around the world. Orlinski’s dedicated galleries make it possible to consolidate most of his work in one place. Infused with his art, these galleries reflect the artist and offer an immersion in his universe.
