Nabila, could you share your current place of residence and the primary focus of your activities?
I recently moved into a penthouse apartment on the east side of Manhattan. The views of the city skyline provide endless inspiration for my passions: modeling, fashion, and real estate. New York City is the center of each, and the synergies are real.
What does modeling give you? Share about the latest vivid impressions in this field.
Modeling gives me a canvas upon which I can imagine and create different versions of myself. I can transport myself to a different time and place. I predominantly shoot in Miami, where I have my team based.
In addition to working in the fashion industry, you are a successful real estate specialist. How do you manage to combine these diverse professions?
Finding balance in one’s life has always been a goal of mine. Finding time to pursue each of these professions that I love has been incredibly rewarding. New York seems to bring that out in many. Work, family, friends, exercise, and personal growth are all important. Finding inspiration in each seems to make each more rewarding.
What personal qualities help you to be in tone and withstand tough competition? I have been told by those who know me best that I have a resilience that has grown stronger over time. I possess the ability to pick myself up whenever one might be knocked out.
What is personal happiness for you? Who or what is in your heart?
Personal happiness, to me, is finding that place personally and professionally that brings peace. True joy is being able to achieve my goals without sacrificing what matters most, which is those people that I truly value and who value me. It’s not easy, but it’s what I seek.
What kind of climate do you like, and how do you prefer to vacation?
Finally, an easy question. Sunshine, warmth, sparkling waters. It’s not truly a “vacation” unless my drink has a little umbrella in it.
